Vegas Lookbook: Fashion And Beauty Inspiration For A Weekend In Sin City

All I can think about is my weekend trip to Vegas–coming up at the end of this month! This post is simply a compilation of all my inspiration and what I hope to achieve on my own upcoming vacation. I plan on doing a packing post later on, so think of this as the rough draft.

A simple messy ponytail is pulled together enough for the Strip while still being laid-back. Summer temperatures are soaring in Vegas, so keeping your hair away from your face is another great idea! Try OUAI’s Texturizing Hair Spray to truly take your pony to the next level ($12.00-$26.00,

Coordinating Shorts Sets are my obsession right now. This mauve set from ASOS is $70 and oozes summery vibes. This floral set from Forever 21 is $48. My two-piece set from Target is definitely getting packed for this trip (Top, $17.99 and Bottoms, $19.99).

Flowy dresses with embroidered detail are perfect for staying cool in the desert heat. They’re pretty, sophisticated, and look like you put in some effort (even if you’re just stumbling half-dead to brunch in the morning). I like this one from Forever 21.

Of course, a simple pair of denim shorts never goes out of style. Pair a ripped set of cut-offs with an off-the-shoulder top for ultimate sexiness and minimal effort.

It’s time to step it up with a subtle smokey eye and a nude lip. This is a classic look you can rock to happy hour, dinner, and even the club. Try the Lorac PRO Palette to get your best smokey eye yet ($44.00,

Your evening outfit all depends on your dinner plans. A sophisticated restaurant may call for an appropriate–but still extremely sexy–dress. This one from Forever 21 is perfectly sexy without revealing too much. If you’re hitting up a dive bar and grabbing tacos, a flirty romper may be more suited to the occasion. Try this romper from ASOS to give this fun look a try.

Because anything goes in Vegas (and what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!), this is the perfect time to wear that formal dress stuffed in the back of your closet. I have a fancy floor-length black dress I’ve been dying to wear but never had the right occasion. Dinner and cocktails in Vegas seems like the perfect opportunity! This one from Forever 21 will have you feeling like a Grecian goddess. For those looking to avoid a dress altogether, these wide leg pants paired with a bustier are an amazing alternative. Try these satin palazzo pants with this bustier.

Bold beauty is the ultimate way to celebrate your night out on the town! A classic red lip and glittery eyes will wow the crowd. Try the Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Xoxo ($20.00, paired with NYX Pigments in Vegas, Baby! ($5.99, Or try something different with this iridescent eye look. Try BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Baked Eyeshadow Palette for all your interstellar make-up needs ($16.00,

Obviously, going out at night is what Vegas is all about! Bring out your inner vixen in two-piece sets, tight skirts, and maxi skorts. I love this two-piece set from Forever 21. Try a mesh bodysuit with a metallic skirt. A basic bodycon dress never goes out of style. Try a satin crop top (or a lace-up one!) with a bodycon skirt. One of my favorite summer trends right now is the maxi skort. You’ll be the talk of the town in this romper from Forever 21.

If anything is considered downtime in Vegas, it would have to be a pool party. Sure, the beats are banging and the booze is flowing, but this is your relaxation time, so enjoy it to the fullest! A braided, messy bun will keep your hair from getting wet, plus it hides your greasy locks from the night before. Try Bumble and Bumble’s Surf Foam Spray Blow Dry to achieve texturized and beachy waves ($17.00-$31.00, A cute slip dress or cover-up is the best way to look stylish and be poolside ready. This tye-dye sundress from Topshop is a great choice.

A cute hat is essential for keeping the sun off your face and adding that extra special touch to your outfit (here’s a fun one from Forever 21).  An eye-catching one-piece is sure to make you the coolest girl at the pool. This tasseled one-piece from ASOS is one-of-a-kind. Lacy kimonos and strappy sandals can turn even though most basic swim suit into something cute and sophisticated. This floral cover-up from Forever 21 is equal parts functional and adorable; here’s a fun lace-up wedge from DSW.

Time to get packing for Sin City!
